Alles anzeigenSo...the idea of making this case as a kind of base for the best 486 I've ever had remains.
I'm tinkering with it all the time and there's a lot to study...so much technical stuff that thankfully I'll never finish.
It's going to go on for a while here...with controllers, graphics, etc. because everything about this thing is special.
But that was not my topic today, but the new hand scanner from @jippel (Escom 256 grey),
@struuunz got me the interface card and @wolfig.sys the drivers (Twain) and programs. A real community feeling
Well, everything works. But just making known is not enough. Dealing with such a scanner is totally new to me...but has always fascinated me.
Not that you can use it to scan a photo with so-la-la quality, but that this mobile type of scanning presents strange possibilities.
Between the flat bed and the camera... you float over objects in motion to breathe dynamic life into the rigid structure and not in a 100th of a second in backlight . The Vesa local bus system is fast enough to deal with it.
Tinkering: An X5-133 (4 X 33 Mhz bus speed shows the Bios with 100), 1024 kb SLC and a Fast ATA with 10 GB next to the Raid/Cache Controller and Mirage P64. WfW runs in 32-bit drive and software mode with special drivers...lots of Dos and Windows disks flying around here
------ ----------A setup in blue and a computer that still needs USB and sound
I also have a very special monitor that I will show you later... but now a video which is shit in itself, but makes the idea with the scanner clear. Hoo Hoo...the tool turns a scanned flying keyboard into art...or a doom floor texture
