mir fehlt ein Open GL fähiger Treiber dafür, Ideen? Bisher habe ich da nicht wirklich brauchbares gefunden.

Aha ? Welche Grafik ? iGPU ? falls ja sollte es integriert sein.
Der Intel Treiber ist seit schon immer direkt im Kernel. Du brauchst ganz bestimmt keinen Aber wir brauchen eine Beschreibung deines Problems
Selbst bei meinen Pentium M geht OpenGL mit Intel i915:-)
Allerdings halt nur OpenGL 1.3.
Wie gesagt, Intel hat seine Treiber vor 20 Jahren geöffnet und in den Linux Kernel integriert. Wenn wir erfahren, was das eigentlich Problem ist, dann können wir ganz bestimmt helfen.
Aber wir brauchen eine Beschreibung deines Problems
kein OpenGL...zumindest meckert das Programm das kein OGL da wäre

Entschuldige bitte, wenn es nicht lustig rüber kommt, aber "kein OpenGL" ist etwa zu vergleichen mit "Rechner startet nicht"
Wie gesagt, der Intel Treiber ist ein Bestandteil des Linux Kernels seit über 20 Jahren. Für OpenGL brauchst Du Mesa3D, aber ich bezweifle, dass Elemntary OS es nicht standardmäßig installiert, daher brauchen wir genau zu wissen, was Du versuchst zu machen und was passiert dann.

Der L640 kann evtl. nur OpenGL 1.4.

Ok, grad Linux wieder oben, scheint wirklich ein Versionsproblem zu sein, die Error.log spricht von "Open GL core profile 3.2 or later for OpenGL core renderer"
Also wirds unter Win wohl über Direcx laufen.
glxinfo meldet Treiber ist da, OpenGL in Version 2.1 installiert, Mesa in Version 20.0.0 und OpenGL shading language version string: 1.20
OpenGL 2.1 ist einfach zu alt.

Ja, dann ist alles da, der Unity3D DirectX Renderpfad ist halt besser implementiert und hat Fallbacks für fehlende Features. Unter OpenGL hat Unity3D sich wohl weniger Mühe gemacht.
Kannst es versuchen mit Wine zu starten, das wird dann versuchen über DX9 auf OpenGL 2.1 zu mappen. Das klappt oft.
